Typically mechanical guidance is considered a safe and secure cost effective method of controlling a vehicle down a narrow aisle.

Due to the physical nature of the guidance additional safety or buffer zones between the guided vehicle and rack are not required. Maintenance is minimal and mechanical. Increased diagonal travel speeds are obtainable due to the tight steering tolerance. No adverse affects or interference from buried hidden metal or floor rebar.
